This part will be about Alice Cooper. I've only liked his music since January 2010.

History of Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper is an American rock singer, songwriter and broadcaster whose careers spans more than 5 decade.

He started out in the 1960's with The Earwigs where they dressed up as the Beatles and mimed The Beatles songs.

IN 1966 they renamed themselves The Spiders and graduated from high school. By 1967 they began taking regular road trips to LA for shows. Soon they renamed themselves The Nazz and released the single 'Wonder Who's Loving Her Now'.

In 1968 they renamed their band again to Alice Cooper.

In 1969 they released their first CD 'Pretties for you'. This CD didn't get succes.

In 1970 they released the second CD 'Easy Action'. After their debut CD the second CD didn't get a lot of succes either.

Than in 1971 the CD 'Love It to Death' came out. Also in 1971 they released 'Killer'. These CD's didn't get succes.

In 1972 the CD 'School's Out' was released which still didn't get succes.

A year later in 1973 they released 2 CD's 'Billion Dollar Babies' and 'Muscle Of Love' 'Billion Dollar Babies' got the first place on the Billboard 200 in North America in 1973. 'Muscle Of Love' got 10th place on the Billboard Pop Albums in North America in 1973.

In 1974 they released their first Greatest Hits CD which got 8th place on the Billboard Pop Albums in North America in 1974.

In 1975 the CD 'Welcome to My Nightmare' came out. This CD got 5th place on the Billboard Pop Albums in North America in 1975.

Their 9th album was named 'Alice Cooper Goes to Hell'. This CD got to 27th place on the Billboard Pop Albums in North America in 1976.

1977 was a detour for Alice Cooper, their CD 'Lace and Whiskey' wasn't as sinister and dark as the previous CD's. Although this CD still got 42nd place on the Billboard Pop Albums in North America in 1977.

Also in 1977 'The Alice Cooper Show' came out. Which reached 131st position on the Billboard Pop Albums in North America in 1977.

'From the Inside' was released in 1978 and still didn't get a high place in the Billboard Pop Albums, it got to the 60th position.

After 2 years, in 1980 the CD 'Flush the Fashion' was released. This CD got to position 44 in the Billboard Pop Albums.

'Special Forces' come out in 1981. This CD got a lower place in the Billboard Pop Albums than the previous one, this one got to position 125.

In 1982 'Zipper Catches Skin' came out, in 1983 'DaDa' came out. Alice Cooper does not remember recording these albums due to excessive alcohol abuse. None of these songs were played live.

After 3 years the comeback CD 'Constrictor' came out in 1986. This CD got higher ratings on the Billboard Pop Albums, it got 59th place.

In 1987 'Raise Your Fist and Yell' came out. This CD got Billboard positions in 3 countries. In the Billboard 200 they got to position 73, in the UK Albums Chart they got to position 48 and in Sweden they got to position 15 in the Album Charts.

2 years later in 1989 'Trash' was released. This CD got high position in Charts 7 countries. In the UK they got to 2nd place.

'Hey Stoopid' came out in 1991 with guest appearances from Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Mick Mars and others. This album got high positions in the Hit Charts outside the USA, in the USA they got 47nd place in the Billboard 200.

In 1994 the CD 'The Last Temptation came out.

In 1997 the CD 'A Fistful of Alice' was released. The CD had 4 different tracklistings in different countries.

'Brutal Planet' was released in 2000. This CD was also released with tour extra songs.

In 2001 a compilation CD named 'Mascara and Monsters: The Best of Alice Cooper' was released. In the same year 'Dragontown' was also released.

2 years later in 2003 'The Eyes of Alice Cooper' was released.

In 2005 the 24th studio album was released named 'Dirty Diamonds'.

In 2006 the first live CD 'Live at Montreux' came out, it also had a DVD.

In 2008 the latest Alice Cooper CD 'Along Cama a Spider' was released.
